What beggers belief where did they come up with the figure 500?
Sounds like a load of shoe repairers.
The price is over £3000. you might as well flush your money down the toilet.
Made by a company that manufactures wiper motors.
These were fitted to the Mcfurson tunnel dryers 40 years ago they kept leaking oil.
Consequently they went bust!
WPS still peddals these PantherDryers with these fitted wiper motors.
WPS also went into administration 3 years ago owing customers and suppliers money.
Finally the sums and the facts dont lie.
Watch this space.
HI All,
We have a Panther tunnel dryer which we purchased from Wicked Print over two years ago, it was fine for the first 18 months but since then we are on a third motor to drive the belt, a new Thermocouple
we are having problems with it not curing everything and the heat dropping up and down, does anyone have one or had the same problems?
I can't comment on the actual machine. As you'll know, WPS have recently been bought out.
Dave Roper has announced that it is now the exclusive dealers in the UK for Panther Dryers, “Europe’s first specialist manufacturer of electric screen printing tunnel dryers.”
The dryers are made in the UK entirely from European parts, explains the company, which also reports that the dryers are low maintenance “as long as they are kept clean and are well looked after”.
According to Dave Roper, there are a number of advantages to using the Panther dryers with their ceramic elements, such as “less energy, a longer life, equal drying speed, and the T-shirt remaining at a cool temperature.”
Dryers can be customised to customers’ own specifications, explains the company, adding: “The Panther Dryer will offer you complete control over drying your garments.”

According to SISS, the WPS 700L Tunnel Dryer is its most popular dryer, with the company adding, “It is the most versatile and capable dryer in the marketplace.”
Built by SISS (WPS) in the UK, it is ideal for DTG printers, says the manufacturer, curing both light and dark garments. It can also be used with manual and semi-automatic screen printers using plastisol, as well as water-based and water-based discharge ink, which the company says will be cured in a single pass.
The dryer comes as standard with variable belt speed, temperature controls and an element array that can be moved up and down as needed, allowing it to accommodate large substrates. It uses ceramic infrared elements, which SISS says are efficient and long-lasting.
The standard length of the dryer is 3m and it comes with air extraction and either a 70cm or 90cm wide belt. It is available in either three-phase or single-phase power formats and is, says SISS, “easy and cost-effective to maintain without the need of a rocket scientist!”
